This is a community for second-time (or third, or beyond) moms and moms-to-be. Every pregnancy and every child is different -- come swap stories with mothers who know that first hand.
Member Intro Survey Please take a moment to complete our new member Intro Survey. It's not required, but we'd love to know more about you.
Respect your fellow community member. Opinions in this community may differ regarding some of the "hot ticket" items (breast vs. bottle, intact vs. circ, SAHM vs. Back-to-Work), and it's certainly fine to debate these topics, but please do so in a respectful manner. "Debate" doesn't mean name calling. Please, feel free to share your personal stories, links for or against the issue at hand, and even your emotional responses, but remember that there's another person on the other end of the computer screen, and it's their child you're talking about.
If you want to make drama or snark on fellow community members, there are communities for that. You know what they are. You know where they are. I have no intention of banning posters for participating in those communities. I will not, however, tolerate spill-over from that community into this one -- keep the drama in the drama communities.
The community currently has open membership. If I find this being abused, that policy will change.
No topic is taboo or verboten in this community, but if you are concerned about privacy, please lock your post.
Please place images under a lj-cut, preferably with a clear description of what the image below the cut will be (ie. "my breastfeeding baby") for the courtesy of members with dial-up, and those of us who work in an office environment.
Clear subject lines on posts would be appreciated, to make it easier to find the topics later in the archives. Try to make the subject line relevant to the topic (ie. "Question about VBACs")
