2. Location: North Vancouver, Beautiful British Columbia
3. Ages of child(ren): Robert, 3
4. Currently pregnant?: Yep!
5. What number pregnancy is this for you?: 4
6. Due date for current pregnancy: July 6
7. SAHM, WAHM, Work in Office, Student, etc: Technically, SAHM. Very, very part-time student otherwise.
8. Areas of mothering "expertise": Gentle discipline & instilling excellent manners, breastfeeding, teaching the monster to "cook".
9. Best part of being a 2nd (or 3rd, etc.) time mom: I'm not there yet, but thus far, the kisses on my tummy have been wonderful.
10. Hardest part of being a 2nd (or beyond) time mom: I'll get back to you. ;)

I've been meaning to join for a while, and I'm happy I finally did!

Question for everyone: Did your older child(ren) attend their siblings' births? We're still sitting on the fence on the issue, mind you it's only been tossed around for a week or so. Any thoughts or perspectives would be helpful. :)

Our then 2.5 year old will be at our home birth. Sorry I don't have any direct experience with it yet. We will have someone whose sole job it is to take care of my daughter and can take her somehwre if it is not working out for her or us.

I think a home birth would be the ideal place for siblings to witness the birth.
